About the Founder
Mr. Lijo George is the founder and head coach of Prime Sports, one of Kerala's most respected badminton coaching academies. A globally certified badminton professional, Mr. Lijo George has dedicated his career to developing elite badminton talent across all age groups — from young beginners to competitive adults.
Holding dual certifications from the Badminton World Federation (BWF) — the international governing body for badminton — as both a Coach and a Teacher, Mr. Lijo George brings world-class, internationally benchmarked training methodology to every session at Prime Sports. His qualifications place him among a select group of coaches in India recognized by the BWF.
Beyond coaching, Mr. Lijo George has served as a Badminton National Umpire in the UAE, demonstrating deep technical knowledge of the game at an official international level. He is also a Yonex Certified Stringer, ensuring that every racket maintained at Prime Sports meets professional performance standards.
A State Champion in the 40+ Mixed Doubles (MXD) category, Mr. Lijo George continues to compete, lead, and inspire — proving that sporting excellence is a lifelong pursuit.
